Tenants seeking assistance should call our Housing Hotline at (518) 436-8997 extension 3. A housing counselor will return calls in the order they are received. Due to higher call volumes, there may be a delay in returning your call. Requests and questions can also be sent to hotline@unitedtenantsalbany.org.

United Tenants’ Board of Directors has developed a Transition Plan which includes the immediate hiring of a replacement Executive Director. Please bear with us through this transitional time. We are working to get ensure we can continue providing services for decades to come.

Advancing Equality for Tenants

Our amazing court advocate, Laura Felts, recently won a bench trial in Albany City Court, preventing a victim of domestic violence from being evicted from her apartment due to noise and disruption stemming from her partner’s stalking and abuse.
